The success of the SA Tomorrow Sub-Area Plans depends on broad participation from area stakeholders. To ensure this success, City staff works with a wide range of community members including neighborhood associations, business and property owners, residents, employers, educational and cultural institutions, public and nonprofit organizations, and other City departments. This process will culminate in the creation of a realistic and implementable plan for the Rolling Oaks Area Regional Center.

As an interested individual and/or organization you are invited to participate in this community-based planning process and share your vision and ideas for the Rolling Oaks Area Regional Center. We understand that not everyone has a schedule that will allow them to attend our meetings and that different people feel comfortable expressing their views in different formats. So, we provide a range of engagement options throughout the process including:

  • Community meetings and open houses
  • Online questionnaires
  • Topic-specific focus groups
  • Meetings with your Neighborhood Association
  • Pop-up events

Meetings aren't for everyone, so we are happy to schedule an in-person interview with you and we will also periodically set up stations in busy places for a few hours at a time where we will interact with people who can share a few minutes with us before moving on with their day. We hope to see you out in the community or at one of our meetings someday soon!
